MEET BEKKA, THE VISIONARY BEHIND THE BRAND

In 2009, my journey in hairstyling began when I attended Paul Mitchell School in Missouri. After graduating, I moved to the Dallas area and started my career from the ground up. In those early days, I would spend long hours waiting for just one client to walk through the door.

By 2017, my dedication and passion for the industry had grown my business to a fully booked clientele, often working 8-10 hour days. I knew it was time for the next step. My husband, Blake, and I found the perfect space—a charming 1901 craftsman-style home. We renovated it, transforming part of the house into a salon. With my friend Regina by my side, we continued to grow, building a thriving business. As demand increased, I added two more hires to my team. But as our space became more cramped, we knew it was time to start searching for a larger location.

In 2023, we found and renovated a commercial building in the heart of downtown Wylie, which became the new home of Lou+Be Salon.

By 2024, the new location was complete, and I was thrilled to expand our team by adding two more talented stylists.

I am deeply grateful for everything God has blessed me with along this journey and incredibly excited about what the future holds. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support and loyalty of my amazing clients. Many of them—more like friends—have been with me since those early days in 2009, and for that, I am forever thankful.
